About The School

East Side Elementary School is located in the Oak Grove neighborhood of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The school was completely rebuilt in 2000 at the site of the former East Side Junior High School.

There are approximately 600 students enrolled at East Side Elementary.
Our school was recognized as a “Tennessee Rewards School” for the 2011-2012, 2014-2015, and 2022-2023 school years for academic growth.
